Directions
Dice the onion. Mince the garlic. Chop the chicken breast into medium sized chunks. Cut the chorizo into chunks.
Turn the slow cooker on high.
Add the chicken, chorizo, garlic, onions, dried basil, and sundried tomatoes. Pour in 300ml of the chicken stock. Cover with a lid and cook for 3 hours.
Remove the broccoli stalk from the broccoli. Grate the stalk on a box grater. Chop the broccoli florets into smaller pieces. Set the broccoli florets aside to cook later.
After 3 hours cooking. Add the orzo, grated broccoli stalk and remaining 300ml of chicken stock and stir. Cover and cook for a further 40 minutes. After 40 minutes add the cream and broccoli florets, mix through and put the lid on, cook for a further 10 minutes. Taste for seasoning add salt and pepper and required.
To serve:
Divide between four plates and garnish each plate with LeaderBrand Wild Rocket on top.
