Salad House Afternoon SHIFT Process Workers

LeaderBrand’s salad house is looking for more enthusiastic and reliable full-time process workers to top up our afternoon shifts.

About The Role

LeaderBrand’s Salad House operates Monday to Friday working eight hour shifts:

Afternoon Shift – 2 pm to 10.30 pm

Your tasks will include:

  • Knife work for raw material preparation
  • Operating machinery
  • Lifting and stacking of crates.

It is important that you are committed to continuous improvement and are able to work in a team environment contributing to our successful operation of LeaderBrand’s Salad House. 

You will work in a team environment to ensure that we are delivering high quality, cost effective, and standardised work by managing time and resources in each room to achieve the production targets.

This role is varied and may include working in any room that requires assistance, quality control, along with general product flow management to ensure flow meets capacity and quality outcomes.

Blue Room tasks include but is not limited to:

  • Dropping condiments, crating off, loading on, and re-working defective bags 
  • Ensuring all bagging lines are operating safely while maintaining quality standards and bagging efficiency to achieve maximum production outputs.

Packing Room tasks include but is not limited to:

  • Packing, stacking, quality assurance through bag checks, along with line flow management, ensuring flow meets capacity and quality outcomes.

Prep Room tasks include but is not limited to:

  • Prepping, loading on, crating off, constant quality checks of the raw materials, running some processing equipment, and line flow management, ensuring flow meets capacity and quality outcomes.

About You

Essential experience and qualifications that will be asked of the successful candidate:

  • proven work record
  • physically fit and comfortable working in a cold environment indoors
  • massive plus if you have worked in the processing environment before
  • proven work record, accuracy and a good eye for detail
  • organised skills with ability to prioritise your workload
  • good manufacturing practices, including equipment care and efficiencies
  • worked in a continuous improvement environment
  • experience in a strong health & safety environment
  • understand food safety and quality requirements in a food manufacturing plant
  • works to a high standard in delivering a quality product
  • ability to multi task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • references available
  • motivated and reliable.

Full training will be given to the successful candidates.
