Job Outline
LeaderBrand, one of New Zealand’s biggest horticulture companies, is looking for YOU to join our Lettuce Harvest Team in Gisborne.
About The Role
At LeaderBrand, you’ll be part of a team that gets things done. We’ll train you up, so bring your can-do attitude, a smile, and a love for the outdoors. We’ll provide the rest: smoko trailers for breaks, PPE, transportation options, and even opportunities for development such as machine operating.
What we are offering:
- Immediate start date.
- On the job training.
- A starting rate of $25.00 an hour or piece rate, whatever is higher.
- Opportunities to advance.
Key tasks include:
- Harvesting: cutting iceberg lettuce to spec
- Tractor driving (if you have prior experience)
About You
We are looking for a team player who:
- Is reliable and willing to work come rain or shine.
- Is a great communicator.
- Is always happy to lend a hand – helping each other is the LeaderBrand way.
- Doesn’t mind getting dirty.
- Wants to learn – we love to see our team members grow their knowledge of agriculture.
- Has an awesome attitude!
A valid NZ driver license isn’t mandatory but is a plus.
Successful applicants must pass drug testing as part of the pre-employment process, be a New Zealand resident, or hold a valid work visa.
