Are you a night owl and enjoy working with a fantastic bunch of team mates? LeaderBrand is seeking hygiene staff to join the Fresh Cut evening shift where you will be part of a 30 person experienced production team who work on a five day shift roster.

About The Role
You will work closely with the Turanganui team Night Shift QA and the Waimata and Taruheru Staff, to ensure that we are delivering high quality, cost effective, and standardised work by managing time and resources sin each room to achieve the production targets.
The role is varied throughout the day and will include working in any room that requires assistance, quality control, cleaning plant equipment, along with general product flow management, ensuring flow meets capacity and quality outcomes.
Blue Room Requirements include but is not limited to:
Dropping condiments, crating off, loading on, and re-working defective bags. Ensure all bagging lines are operating safely while maintaining quality standards and bagging efficiency to achieve maximum production outputs.
Packing Room Requirements include but is not limited to:
Packing, stacking, quality assurance through bag checks, along with line flow management, ensuring flow meets capacity and quality outcomes.
Prep Room Requirements include but is not limited to:
Prepping, loading on, crating off, constant quality checks of the raw materials, running some processing equipment, and line flow management, ensuring flow meets capacity and quality outcomes.
You will join a team of approximately 60 experienced production staff who are working on a five day shift roster.
You will work closely with the Hygiene team and the rest of Fresh Cut Finishing Staff to ensure that we are delivering high quality, cost effective, and standardised work by managing time and resources in each room to achieve the production targets.
The role is varied throughout the day and will include working in any room that requires assistance, quality control, cleaning plant equipment, along with general product flow management, ensuring flow meets capacity and quality outcomes.
A thorough hygienic clean down of our factory prior to each work day is essential to ensure our food safety practices and keeping production in line with the production schedule are achieved. Our Hygiene shift starts at 10 pm Monday evening and run for five days through till 6.30 am the next morning.

- Experience working in a food manufacturing environment

- Worked in a strong health and safety environment
- Understanding of food safety and quality requirements in a food manufacturing plant.
