About The Role

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic agricultural mechanic/workshop engineer in this fulltime permanent role to support our farming business and post-harvest facility in our year-round operation.  You will be responsible for all duties relating to design, build, modification, repair and maintenance of a range of equipment in our post-harvest facility and field operations.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Purchase plant and equipment
  • Custom builds and design
  • Welding
  • Service, repairs and maintenance of agricultural machinery
  • Inspecting, reporting and record keeping
  • Fault finding and diagnostic skills.

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Computer literacy
  • A full NZ driver’s license
  • Flexibility in relation to working hours.
