Directions
Preheat your oven to 190°C.
Line a baking tray with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat to prevent sticking.
Form Cheese Rounds:
Place about 20–25g of grated Parmesan cheese onto the baking tray, spreading it into a thin, even circle (approximately 10–12cm in diameter). Cook in batches of 4-6 as you need to work quickly before the cheese hardens. Repeat with the remaining cheese, leaving space between each circle as they will spread while baking.
Bake the Cheese:
Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 4-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden around the edges.
Shape the Cups:
Remove the tray from the oven and allow the cheese rounds to cool for about 30 seconds. They should be pliable but not too hot to handle. Quickly lift each cheese round with a spatula and drape it over the bottom of an inverted small bowl or press gently into a muffin tin to shape into a bowl. Let the cheese cool completely in the shape. Repeat until all of the parmesan cheese cups have been cooked.
Prepare the salad:
Add the LeaderBrand Caesar Kit in a bowl, pour in the creamy dressing and add the croutons. Toss gently to combine.
Serve:
Once firm, the Parmesan cups are ready to filled with the salad. Divide the Caesar Kit mix between each of the parmesan cheese cups.
Tips:
- Work quickly when shaping the cups, as the cheese hardens fast as it cools.
- If the cheese becomes too brittle, return it to the oven for 30 seconds to soften.
