As an Agronomist at LeaderBrand, you will report to a Senior Crop Production Manager. This role is perfect for new talent or those looking to start their career in agronomy. You will play a key role in driving productivity, maintaining efficiency, and building strong relationships with our crews. About The Role

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in growing operations from planting to harvest
- Conduct field trials and experiments
- Perform data collection and analysis
- Assist with agronomic research projects
- Lead a high performing team
- Drive health & safety engagement
- Maintain accurate records
- Analyse processes to implement operational efficiency
About You
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- A degree qualification in agronomy, agriculture, or a related field (desirable).
- Experience leading a team in a professional setting (desirable).
- Knowledge of irrigation systems
- Mechanical knowledge and hands on experience with farm machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Strong computer and technology skills to analyse data and drive digital innovation in farming practices.
- A continuous improvement mindset.
- A full NZ driver license or equivalent international license.





Requirements:
- Full class 1 NZ driver license or equivalent
- Horticulture experience preferred
- Must pass pre-employment drug testing
- Must be a NZ resident or hold a valid work visa
