About The Role
This is a hands-on, field-based role focused on keeping our agricultural machinery running at its best. You’ll take a proactive approach to service and maintenance, carrying out scheduled check-ups, preventative maintenance, and on-site repairs to minimise downtime and keep operations moving.
Working closely with operators and the wider engineering team, you’ll play a key part in reducing reliance on workshop repairs by resolving issues in the field and ensuring equipment is reliable, safe, and fit for purpose.
Alongside maintenance, you’ll manage parts supply and inventory, building strong supplier relationships, ensuring critical parts are always available, and keeping stock levels optimised and cost-effective. You’ll also maintain accurate records, ensure all parts meet quality and compliance standards, and stay up to date with new tools and technologies to continuously improve the way we work.
This role suits someone who is organised, self-driven, and enjoys a mix of practical, on-the-tools work and systems-based responsibilities, while contributing to a positive, team-focused environment. An adult apprenticeship is available, providing the opportunity to further develop your skills while gaining hands-on experience in the role.
