About The Role

Our produce begins its lifecycle in our modern nursery on Nelson Road, Gisborne. From germination through to healthy seedlings ready for transplanting, we ensure every stage meets the highest standards. We supply premium transplants to growers locally and nationally—quality starts here.

As part of our dedicated nursery team, you’ll be helping with:

  • Greenhouse operations and maintenance
  • Growing plants from seed
  • Preparing soil mixes
  • Seeding vegetable plants
  • Watering and fertilising plants
  • Stock organisation and dispatch of plants

About You

This is a physically demanding role, so you must be physically fit and able to work in hot, humid conditions during summer. You’ll also need:

  • A driver’s licence or reliable transportation (forklift licence is an advantage but not a necessity)
  • A proactive attitude, reliability, and a genuine interest in horticulture

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • Extended periods on your feet and manual handling tasks
  • Occasional weekend work during peak periods
  • A hands-on role where attention to detail and teamwork matter

Successful applicants must pass drug testing as part of the pre-employment process, be a New Zealand resident or hold a valid work visa.
