IT Support Engineer
About The Role
This is the front line of IT at LeaderBrand. As our IT Support Engineer, you’ll be the first point of contact for technical support across the business, helping our people stay connected, productive, and secure.
You’ll provide day-to-day support across a broad range of technologies, troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and device issues while supporting key business systems and applications. From setting up new users and managing access to resolving technical incidents and maintaining IT assets, you’ll play a vital role in keeping the business running smoothly.
The role offers plenty of variety and ownership. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the organisation, manage support requests from start to finish, and identify opportunities to improve processes, documentation, and the overall user experience. No two days are the same, and you’ll gain exposure to a wide range of technologies in a dynamic and growing business environment.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, takes pride in delivering great customer service, and is passionate about technology. If you’re keen to develop your technical skills, make a real impact, and be part of a team that supports the backbone of the business, we’d love to hear from you.

About You
You’re passionate about technology and genuinely enjoy helping people. Whether it’s troubleshooting a technical issue, setting up a new device, or resolving a complex user problem, you approach every challenge with a positive attitude and a customer-first mindset.
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
- Experience in an IT Support, Service Desk, or IT Support Engineer role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.
- Experience with Active Directory user and device administration.
- A solid understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPNs, and Wi-Fi.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate and resolve issues independently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and maintain a high level of customer service.
It would be advantageous if you also have:
- Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems and remote support tools.
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure, Intune, or Entra ID.
- Knowledge of IT security principles and best practices.
- Experience supporting ERP or business-critical applications.
- CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, Microsoft certifications, or similar industry qualifications.
- Experience with scripting or automation tools such as PowerShell.
Most importantly, you’ll be someone who takes ownership, enjoys learning, and takes pride in delivering outstanding support to your colleagues across the business.
