About The Role
This is a broad scope role which covers all aspect of our horticulture operation including hands on help when required. The ideal candidate would be someone who can think on their feet to problem solve as they go and using their initiative to make decisions to complete the task at hand. This is a fulltime fixed-term role that requires you to drive our equipment on the road so applicants must hold a current NZ Driver’s License. You will be willing to work outdoors, so being prepared to work in whatever weather Gisborne throws at us will be a plus.
The successful applicant must pass a drug and alcohol test as part of the pre-employment process and be a New Zealand Resident or hold a valid work Visa.
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Be physically fit
- Hold and maintain NZ Restricted Licence (minimum)
- Have basic mechanical skills
- Have the ability to keep records and work with minimal supervision
- Training provided
- Require a Pre-Employment Drug Test
- Has NZ Residency or a valid work visa
- Proof of Covid Vaccination status.
This fulltime, fixed term role is based out of Makauri, Gisborne and can commence as soon as you are ready. Shifts are generally 12 hours and you must be available to work weekends as well as week-days.
