About The Role

Key tasks include:

  • Lead, motivate, coordinate, and support a diverse team to maintain momentum and achieve productivity goals.
  • Take ownership of your team, fostering growth and continuous improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with crew members, managers, crop managers, sales, transport teams, and the Ag Engineering Workshop.
  • Organise equipment, people, and machinery – plan ahead.
  • Communicate effectively, including daily & weekly plans and production targets to your crew.
  • Drive health & safety engagement and proactively support a safe culture.
  • Identify key support staff in your crew to support training, quality, and induction of new members.
  • Maintain accurate record keeping.

About You

  • Mechanical knowledge and the ability to maintain machinery to a high standard.
  • Experience operating farm machinery

You must have a full class 1 NZ driver license. Experience in supervising a team is essential. Experience in horticulture is desired.

Successful applicants must pass drug testing as part of the pre-employment process, be a New Zealand resident or hold a valid work visa.
