LeaderBrand has farms in Gisborne, Pukekohe, Matamata and Chertsey, growing approximately 3,500ha of wholesome fresh produce each year for domestic and international customers.
The Pukekohe farm is based at 188 Mill Rd with an operation over 700ha, and are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and hardworking Grounds Person to join our team. This position will involve various roles including but not limited to: weeding, mowing, repairing and constructing farm fences, spraying and general farm maintenance to ensure our farms meet our expectations.
About The Role
Key Responsibilities:
• General grounds keeping
• Lawn mowing
• Weed trimming
• Water Blasting
• Maintenance work
• Basic repairs
• Complete tasks competently, tidily and cost-effectively
• Attendance and active input at staff meetings
• Actively participate in the Health and Safety
• Other duties as required.
About You
Key Requirements:
• Demonstrable grounds keeping skills
• Demonstrable maintenance skills
• Physically fit
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong work ethic with proven high work attendance record
• Driver’s Licence
• Pre-Employment Drug Test required
• Current NZ Residency or a valid work visa
• Proof of Covid Vaccination status.
