We are seeking an experienced Environmental Resource Planner to join our team.

About The Role

This role is pivotal in managing all resource consents for LeaderBrand, collaborating with councils and consultants, coordinating farm environment plans, and driving sustainability-focused research and development projects. 

We are accepting applications from both Pukekohe and Gisborne.

Key Responsibilities:

· Resource Consents Management: Build relationships with regulatory authorities, ensure compliance with local and national regulations, and oversee the application process for consents and permits.

· Farm Environment Plans (FEP): Lead the development and review of FEPs, provide training and support to farm staff, and engage with stakeholders to ensure environmental compliance.

· Sustainability Projects: Develop and execute sustainability projects, conduct assessments, and promote innovative practices that enhance sustainability.

About You

Qualifications: 

A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field.

· Experience: Proven experience in environmental management within the agricultural or horticultural sector, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role. Relevant experience in resource management or environmental planning are essential.

· Skills: Strong stakeholder engagement, regulatory compliance knowledge, project management skills, and the ability to drive innovation and sustainability initiatives.
