About The Role

Join our Process Engineering Team as a skilled Electrician and help keep our operations running safely, efficiently, and at peak performance. You’ll maintain and repair electrical systems, respond quickly to breakdowns, and support upgrades that improve reliability and productivity across our processing site.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Carry out planned and proactive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and production equipment.
  • Fault‑find and repair electrical breakdowns quickly to keep production downtime to a minimum.
  • Install new electrical equipment and carry out system upgrades across the site.
  • Ensure all electrical work meets New Zealand electrical standards, site safety requirements, and quality systems.
  • Maintain clear and accurate maintenance records, reports, and job documentation.
  • Work closely within the team and across functional areas to troubleshoot issues and improve equipment performance.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well‑organised work area at all times, completing work to a high standard functionally and aesthetically.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across the Salad House.

About You
  • NZ Registered Electrician (Level 4) with a current EWRB practising licence.
  • 3+ years’ experience in an industrial setting (food processing preferred).
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with installations, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Solar experience (desirable).
