LeaderBrand has farms in Gisborne, Pukekohe, Matamata and Chertsey, growing approximately 3,500ha of wholesome fresh produce each year for domestic and international customers. LeaderBrand aims to be best fresh food producer in the world driven through innovation and quality.

The Agricultural Engineering Workshop supports LeaderBrand’s farming businesses in their year-round operation. We are a vertically integrated family owned operation where we all share in the story and values that underpin our culture.

About The Role

Our growth and drive to innovate means we are looking for a talented diesel mechanic to design, build, modify, repair and maintain our extensive range of equipment. This includes a great mixture of work all year round. The position is full time and predominantly based at our Ramarama Workshop. Work will vary from design and build through to repair and maintenance including continuous improvement of our machinery and processes, across both our farm and processing business.

About You

Can you bring the following?

  • Diesel Mechanic/ Engineering experience
  • Qualified in engineering
  • Have a NZ Class 1 driver licence
  • Ability to work efficiently – independently and as part of a team
  • Enjoy contributing within a team environment
  • Can understand, implement and follow plans
  • Have a good eye for detail
  • Energetic and fast thinking
  • Positive health and safety culture
  • Good sense of humour
