We are looking for a motivated Fresh Cut Production Manager to lead processing operations at our Gisborne based Salad House. This full time role plays an important part in our mission, overseeing daily production in a fast paced environment and ensuring our teams deliver safe, consistent, high quality fresh food every day
About The Role
In this hands on leadership role you will guide the day to day operation of our Fresh Cut processing facility, which runs twenty four hours from Monday to Friday. You will work closely with our Shift Managers, Team Leaders, and wider support teams to keep production running smoothly, safely, and to a consistently high standard.
Your focus will be on bringing the best out of our people, supporting clear routines, strong food safety practices, and reliable delivery. You will help plan and manage production, solve problems as they arise, and keep communication flowing across all shifts. This role has a strong balance of people leadership, operational performance, and continuous improvement, and is well suited to someone who enjoys a busy food environment and takes pride in helping teams succeed.

You will bring
- Leadership experience in food manufacturing or FMCG
- Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety requirements
- Confidence working across a twenty four hour operation
- A practical approach to planning, problem solving, and continuous improvement
- A leadership style that supports, guides, and builds capability in others
You must also have the right to work in New Zealand and be able to pass a pre employment drug test.
Experience with fresh cut products, short shelf life foods, or improvement tools is helpful but not essential. What matters most is your passion for people, quality, and helping us deliver fresh food that supports a healthier world.
