SLAW

We make over six different types of slaw, in various sizes. With delicious, shredded cabbage and other tasty vegetables for our retail and wholesale customers across the country. Here’s how it all comes together.

WHERE DOES our slaw GROW?

Quality cabbage is a key ingredient for all our slaws, and we grow it in Gisborne close to our salad house so it can be processed sent to supermarkets all over New Zealand daily.

OUR PROCESS

HOW DO WE MAKE IT?

We make over six different types of slaw. Here’s how we make our slaws the very best they can be:

  1. Once our cabbage is fully grown, we harvest it all by hand and immediately transport it to our salad house for processing.
  2. Our state-of-the-art salad house works around the clock every day washing, grading, and weighing our ingredients before they’re mixed into our various slaw’s.
  3. To give every bag the longest shelf life possible, our slaws are double-washed and dried to remove any residual moisture before they’re bagged.
  4. As soon as our slaw is bagged, we transport it to supermarkets and stores daily around the country.
  5. Because our slaw’s already been washed, it’s ready to enjoy straight out of the bag – yum!
