We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to take on the role of Packing Area Leader on our morning shift at our state of the art Salad House in Gisborne.
This full-time position is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring our packing operations run smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

About The Role
As the Packing Area Leader, you will lead a team of dedicated packing room staff to ensure all products are accurately packed, labelled, and palletised to meet strict quality and safety standards.
You will oversee operations, monitor production outputs, and drive improvements in efficiency.
Key responsibilities include supervising daily activities, managing labour allocation, ensuring compliance with GMP and HACCP principles, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
You will also promote a safe working environment by adhering to and championing Health & Safety protocols
About You
The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience and a strong background in production or packing environments.
You will be detail-oriented, reliable, and an effective communicator who can inspire and develop your team. With strong organisational skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes, you will thrive in a fast-paced setting.
Knowledge of GMP and HACCP principles is essential, while food manufacturing experience and familiarity with systems like Linkfresh would be advantageous.
