Job Outline

LeaderBrand Produce is one of New Zealand’s largest and most diverse horticultural businesses with operations in Ashburton, Matamata, Pukekohe and a base in Gisborne. As a large scale farming operation we grow, pack, distribute and market a wide range of annual and permanent crops, as well as added value products for the domestic and export markets.

We are looking for new team of operators to support our harvest crew at our Gisborne Farm;

  • Harvester Driver
  • Tractor Trailer Drivers
  • Forklift Driver (OSH Certified)
  • Seeder Operator

About The Role

LeaderBrand grows and harvests all year round, you will be driving modern farm equipment along our roads daily and will need to hold and maintain a NZ Restricted Drivers Licence (minimum).  

We are offering;

  • immediate start date
  • permanent full time roles
  • 40 hours per week (option to do more)
  • fixed term options
  • wet weather gear, boots and lunches
  • competitive starting rates
  • contract picking rates also available (from $25 to $40 per hour)

About You

Previous machine operating experience would be preferable but not essential, all you need to bring is a willingness to learn and a ‘can do attitude’. There are plenty of opportunities to advance for those who are willing to put in the hard mahi.

Successful applicants must pass a drug and alcohol test as part of the pre-employment process, a New Zealand Resident or hold a valid work Visa.
