LeaderBrand’s programme was designed and implemented to identify potential risks to food safety and to limit and control these before and during production. Points in the process which are critical to food safety are called Critical Control Points (CCPs). LeaderBrand Produce has gone one-step further and identified Quality Assurance Points (QAPs). The CCPs are monitored and controlled to produce safe produce, QAPs are monitored and controlled to produce quality products.
